V-Slot Linear Rail is the ultimate solution combining both linear motion and a modular, structural framing system. It's lightweight yet rigid and provides an ultra smooth track for precise motion. OpenBuilds created V-Slot Linear Rail and has added a library of compatible modular parts which today is known as the OpenBuilds System. Profilium advises that it has ended its arrangement with GAP Engineering to supply our t-slot profiles into Queensland. In the short term, all orders and enquiries will be serviced from our Sydney office, however we are planning to appoint a new partner in QLD as soon as possible. V-Slot is a high-quality aluminium linear rail profile with an extremely smooth v-groove on all four sides. It's precise, easy, and allows you unlimited design control through its modular nature.

How does it work?

Building with V-Slot is much like working with lumber. You can cut it with a chop saw and the rest is as simple as turning a screwdriver to make the connections.

V-Slot's building characteristics are much like traditional T-Slot but V-Slot then goes on to add new levels of functionality through it's internal v grooves that allow for linear motion. This brings your projects to life!
